Margot Ressel, born 1964 in Fischingen/TG
She was influenced by her father, Erhard Ressel. He was a qualified restorer and restored many well-known churches in Switzerland, as well as paintings and sculptures.
As a result, drawing and painting were accompanying activities from childhood.
It was always her dream to become a painter. But first she learned to be a manual binder, traveled the world and then inexorably approached her true destiny, painting.
In the early years, she worked in mixed media on photographic cardboard. Always inspired by nature, magnificent color combinations and everyday objects. For the past 25 years, she has painted exclusively in oil on canvas.
All her paintings have one thing in common. They are beautifully coordinated in color, generous and exude a wonderful energy that captivates the viewer.
Margot Ressel has two grown-up sons and now lives with her husband, Kurt Naef, in Tuttwil.
She is also happy to receive interested customers in her studio.
